Part of the TransferClient is the Elster-Rich-Client [ERiC]. This is a closed library provided by the German tax authorities. AMANA has no influence on the development and the functionality. The financial administration increases the minimum version requirement every year. An annual update of GTC, VAT@GTC and TransferClient is absolutely necessary if an electronic transmission of the tax data should be possible continuously.
The ERiC API enables the use of a proxy by specifying corresponding parameters [host, port, username, password, authentication method]. The use of a Proxy Auto-Config file is not supported by the ERiC API.

The use of TransferClients is only guaranteed if all security updates are installed. In rare cases the automatic Windows update installation cannot install the update necessary for the signature check. For this reason, a manual Windows update installation is recommended.

Bestandteil des TransferClients ist der Elster-Rich-Client [ERiC]. Dies ist eine geschlossene Bibliothek, die von der Finanzverwaltung zur Verfügung gestellt wird. AMANA hat keinen Einfluss auf Entwicklung und den Funktionsumfang. Die Finanzverwaltung erhöht jedes Jahr die Mindestversionsanforderung. Es ist zwingend ein jährliches Update von GTC, VAT@GTC und TransferClient erforderlich, wenn durchgehend einer elektronische Übermittlung der Steuerdaten möglich sein soll.
Die ERiC API ermöglicht den Einsatz eines Proxys unter Angabe entsprechender Parameter [Host, Port, Username, Password, Authentication Method]. Die Verwendung einer Proxy Auto-Config Datei wird seitens der ERiC API nicht unterstützt.

Die Verwendung es TransferClients ist nur gewährleistet, wenn alle Sicherheitsupdates installiert sind. In seltenen Fällen kann die automatische Windows-Updateinstallation das für die Signaturprüfung notwendige Update nicht installieren. Aus diesem Grund wird eine manuelle Windows-Updateinstallation empfohlen.
