You can edit your personal profile settings yourself via My Profile.

This includes the following configurations:

  • The contact details (telephone number, email and job title)
  • The password

  • The system language: In which language the VAT@GTC should be displayed. The VAT@GTC is available in english and german.

    Good to know

    The language of the forms can be changed for foreign forms independently of the system language in the declaration dialogue. This setting can be made individually for each form.

  • The number format: Two number formats are available in VAT@GTC According to the selection made, any number representations are output in this form. The following options are available according to ISO 80000 (sizes and units):
    • 1.234,56
    • 1,234.56

  • List settings: In the lists in the tool, columns can be displayed and hidden as desired. Here you can configure how long these settings should be saved.

    When the browser is closed, the cookies are deleted by "default configuration".
    Under edge://settings/clearBrowsingDataOnClose this can be prevented by adding the running server "Server-Url".

  • The Elster certificate including pin for electronic transmission

    Good to know

    An Elster certificate (used in Germany for electronically filing of VAT declaration) can be added for each respective user in the [Settings: User] dialogue. For further information please see chapter [User: Elster certificate].
