If an existing domain user is to be used for the connection to the database, this must be set up in the ApplicationPool as follows. First, the advanced settings of the ApplicationPools used must be opened. To adjust the identity used, the corresponding menu must be opened up as shown in the figure. In the following dialog a user-defined account can be entered. For a domain user, the user name must be stored here in the format "domain/user name". In addition, the password of the user is required. From now on, all connections of the page or the ApplicationPool will be executed under the identity of the specified domain user.
