From Version 1.10.0 and newer:

Since more and more audit firms in different countries are now requesting users to have tables in the notes section of the final report marked with an XHTML table tag, the feature to "Create <table> tag for tagged tables" in the Document Settings is now set to "true" by default.

Before applying the TextBlock Tags you have to prepare the tables in the document. First, you need to add an additional layer to the document.
Mark the whole table on the new layer and double click on it.

There is no need to add a table tag here. These are just needed if there are tagged values in the table. However, you have to make sure that the Escape-Attribute is set to True.
Tables with a Table Tag will also fulfill the new requirement.

From Version 1.10.0 and newer:

Similarly, the Escape-Attribute for text blocks in the text block properties is now set to "true" by default. The Escape Attribute controls whether the HTML tag should be included in the XBRL instance document or not.

When generating the XBRL report, the corresponding tables will have an HTML-table tag.
